About Mike
Senator Mike Brubaker (R) represents Pennsylvania’s 36th District which includes Lancaster and a portion of Chester Counties. He was elected to his second term in 2010 and currently serves as the Senate Finance Committee Chairman. He is the Chair of the Pennsylvania Senate Republican Campaign Committee and was recently elected as the Chairman of the Chesapeake Bay Commission for 2011.

He is well respected for his ability to build relationships that allow him to problem solve with empathy while working efficiently. His Pennsylvania Hunger Caucus initiative, designed to bring attention to Pennsylvania’s families in need, earned bi-partisan support.

Senator Brubaker is an agronomist and entrepreneur who believes in removing barriers to job creation, responsible spending and budgeting and balancing sensitive environmental issues with economic growth.

A Lancaster County native, he has been married to his wife Cindy since 1982 and they have three adult children.
